Why shop here
Three reasons Orion stands out for astronomy enthusiasts
Dobsonian visual power
Orion’s Dobsonian reflectors are the workhorses of backyard astronomy: raw aperture for bright, contrast-rich views combined with simple alt-az mounts. Ideal for observers prioritizing deep-sky performance without complex setup, these telescopes deliver dramatic views of nebulae, star clusters and planets with a straightforward, tactile experience.
Wide-field binocular observing
Binoculars from Orion emphasize wide fields, comfortable eye relief and tripod adaptability—perfect for scanning star fields, meteor showers and extended objects. Lightweight porro and roof-prism models provide easy handheld use or steady tripod shots, offering an excellent entry point for family stargazing and quick-scan observing sessions.
