03Local hosts, unique homesListings are owner- or manager-operated, offering locally styled properties from coastal cottages to city apartments and countryside retreats.

Coastal cottages and seaside stays

Search Vrbo for coastal cottages, converted fisherman's cottages and beachfront houses across the UK. Listings include photos, amenity lists, guest reviews and proximity to the shore—ideal for seaside holidays with the family or a group wanting private outdoor space and self-catering comforts.

Mountain chalets and country retreats

For countryside escapes, Vrbo offers cabins, chalets and rural stone cottages with wood burners and large living spaces. Many hosts provide long-stay discounts, child-friendly equipment and clear arrival instructions—perfect for active getaways, skiing trips or slow weekend retreats away from the city.
