Pet Wellbeing

Pet Wellbeing was founded in 2001. Our goal? To provide pet owners with options and good information. When faced with decisions about the best health strategies for our beloved pets, we all want what is best for our furry companions. We want the assurance that we will make our pets feel better, not worse; additionally, we don't want to throw away our money on something that doesn't work.

To fulfill our vision, our on-staff, holistic veterinarians develop products using data from multiple streams: time-honored, traditional uses of herbs and foods, current scientific research, hands-on, clinical experience between veterinarians and their dog or cat patients.

Our products and formulas are continually under review. Formulas are analyzed individually, in turn. During a review, our Board of Advisors team integrates information in a "think tank" fashion, looking at the latest studies & research, and real-life results of the dogs and cats within their veterinary practices. Ideas are shared and improvements are discussed and tested. This is our commitment to putting leading-edge science and concrete results into our products.

As pet owners ourselves, we know the difficulty that comes with caring for a pet who isn't well. Weighing options between different treatments can be confusing, even overwhelming. Pet Wellbeing was built by caring professionals who want to provide other pet owners with options and valuable information. Of course, we hope that pet owners like our products, but we would rather provide you with the information to make the right choice for your pet.

Navigating through health information on the internet can be unreliable and misleading. We provide an online destination to support you with reliable resources and provide trusted natural health products when you need them. We also give you free access to a holistic veterinarian who can help with your specific concerns about your pet's health.

Care and attention goes into every product we make. But what does that mean? What do we do differently?

Step One: Identifying Need

Each new product starts with a need. Sometimes this comes from a customer. Often it comes from a veterinarian looking for an alternative treatment for a dog or cat patient. From chronic kidney issues to thyroid support to dog shampoo for sensitive skin.

Step Two: Research

Research is garnered from multiple sources. This includes the most up-to-date, scientific research on certain conditions and the studies that have been done to treat those conditions. It also factors in clinical experience and knowledge from working practitioners and veterinarians who are currently using alternative therapies in their own practices. Over time, ingredients and proportions are chosen and tested by a panel of formulators.
