WHO WE ARE
We are an airline with our main headquarters located in Barcelona, and we were born back in 2012. Our founders are Carlos Muñoz (CEO) and Lázaro Ros (General Director). They make posible on April 5th 2012 we made our first take off, and since then we transported more than 25 milion passengers thanks to a very qualified and professional team and our idea on offering a good experience at a very competitive prices.
QUALITY AND SAFETY
We have renewed our IOSA (International Operational Audit Safety Programme) registration with the International Air Transport Association (IATA) until 2021. IATA is the leading association in international operational security audits and is considered a benchmark in the airline industry.
The IOSA programme evaluates airlines' operational management and control systems, ensuring compliance with approximately 940 requirements and recommended practices relating to safety and operational quality. Created in 2001, the IOSA programme covers flight control, loading operations and passenger cabin operations, among other things. IOSA has become a global standard that is recognised outside of IATA.

Volotea joins more than 90 cities all around Europe with 346 routes. And every year we add new bases to our desination map!
30 MILLION PASSENGERS
Volotea has carried more than 30 million passengers since its first flight in April 2012, and more than 7.6 million in 2019.

In 2020, Volotea opened 53 new routes, increasing its total to 354 between 90 small and medium cities in 15 countries at very competitive prices.
