We are eager for parents worldwide to have this tool. The fully-featured version, Qustodio Premium, is priced at just $49.95 a year. We also make the core software available for no charge as Qustodio Free.
Qustodio is already available in six languages - English, Spanish, French, Italian, German and Portuguese. Qustodio can monitor any of the one billion-plus PCs running Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8, and Macs running Lion 10.7 or 10.8, or Mavericks 10.9. Support for more languages and more devices is in the works.
How we do it
We emphasize two things to help you help your kids. The first area we emphasize is ease of use. Qustodio has a small footprint and can even be installed invisibly on the PCs it protects, even as it keeps objectionable content at bay. At the same time, the browser-based management and reporting capability is available to you on many devices, making it easy for you to help protect your kids.
The second thing we emphasize in our work is information management. Your kids’ use of a PC and the Internet generates thousands of conversations and lists of things like internet history, even in a brief session. Today’s parents don’t have time to be reviewing every single detail of what kids do online. This is where Qustodio comes in to summarize usage and note exceptional activities in an easy to use online dashboard.
With this core in place, we can add new features to meet new challenges. We combine multiple devices and multiple kid users into a single reporting dashboard. We monitor social networks and protect against inappropriate and illegal content. We support time limits on device use. And, in Qustodio Premium, we help you block games and unwanted applications.
