The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has implemented the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) as a replacement to the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program (EBB Program) to assist low-income families in paying for internet service and connected devices.
If you are eligible, you can avail yourself of:
Up to a $30/month discount on your internet service
Up to a $75/month discount if your household is situated on qualifying Tribal lands
A one-time discount of up to $100 for a laptop, tablet, or desktop computer (with a co-payment of more than $10 but less than $50)
Please note that only one monthly service discount and one device discount is allowed per household.
Additionally, not all internet service providers offer device discounts. The discount will be provided by the internet company to the consumer.
The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is a government initiative that offers discounts on monthly broadband Internet service and connected devices. GO MD USA Wireless provides this benefit service to its customers with support from the Federal Communications Commission. If you meet the qualifying criteria, you can receive our monthly data plan for free*. It's important to note that this discount program is limited to one per household and is non-transferrable.
What is the Affordable Connectivity Program?
Congress recently created the Affordable Connectivity Program, a long-term, $14 billion programs, which will replace the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program. This investment in broadband affordability will help ensure we can afford the internet connections we need for work, school, health care, and more for a long time.
