Scot Group Ltd operates both the Dollar and Thrifty rental brands in the UK and is the largest privately owned rental company in the UK today.

In 1999 Nigel Spokes assumed a controlling interest in the company. Remaining true to its roots the business still remains family-owned to this day with the current board comprising Roger Hancock (Chairman) and Martin Wilson (Managing Director).
