Check-in

You can check in online from 23 hours before departure. Have your booking reference or e-ticket number to hand. Airlines are obliged, for safety reasons, to provide the US and other countries' authorities with every passenger's personal information before departure. This is done using the Advanced Passenger Information System (APIS). The transferred API details are deleted after 24 hours. We recommend that you provide this additional information as promptly as possible via swiss.com/api–– external linkor at online check-in. Web and mobile check-in are possible between 23 hours and 1 hour before departure. The latest airport check-in times vary depending on the destination. You will find an overview here. If you are unable to print out your boarding pass, you can pick up one either at the check-in machine or the check-in desk at the airport. Please observe the check-in times.

Lounges

You will find a list of airports where you as a SWISS passenger have access to the Lounges under Lounges worldwide. Access to SWISS Lounges and partner Lounges worldwide is only available to passengers in certain booking classes and to status passengers of the Miles & More programme. Please go to Lounges for information on the subject of access authorisation. Whether you are allowed to take other people, and how many, into a SWISS Lounge depends on your booking class. You will find further information on this subject under Rules for companions. The In-flight catering depends on your booked flight class and the duration of your flight. All of the food and drinks served on SWISS flights are free of charge. Please note: Food isn't included in Economy Light fare on flights from/to Geneva. The same applies to all SWISS Economy fares on flights shorter than 1 hour from/to Switzerland.

Food & Beverage

You can order your special menu when you make your booking at swiss.com or up to 24 hours before departure via your online profile or through one of Service Center. We show consideration to passengers with food allergies and have a policy of not serving peanuts on board. However, for technical reasons we are unable to provide meals without any trace of peanuts. The meals and snacks served on board may contain nuts or ingredients that are based on peanuts. We advise passengers with serious allergies to consider the possible reactions and carry their own emergency medicine with them. Under certain circumstances, they may prefer to bring their own food that does not require chilling or heating on board. If you have a food allergy, please contact the SWISS Service Centre or your cabin crew team.
