Lufthansa - UK
Thanks to the close cooperation with our airline partners in the Lufthansa Group and the Star Alliance and with other cooperation partners, we can offer our passengers a globally efficient travel experience with many benefits.
The Lufthansa Group is a globally operating aviation group with a total of more than 550 subsidiaries and affiliated companies. The company portfolio consists of network airlines, point-to-point airlines and aviation service.
The Star Alliance network was established in 1997 as the first truly global airline alliance to offer worldwide reach, recognition and seamless service to the international traveller. Its acceptance by the market has been recognised by numerous awards, including the Air Transport World Market Leadership Award and Best Airline Alliance by both Business Traveller Magazine and Skytrax.
At Star Alliance, we are investing in technology to make travel more rewarding. You may not see it but you will feel it.
We are working together with our member airlines to make earning and spending miles/points more exciting. Whether using them for a seat upgrade, getting access to the business lounge, or having your miles/points updated the moment you step off the plane, you will feel the benefit.

Lufthansa partner airlines
The perfect complement is our Lufthansa Regional network, which connects the regions of Europe with each other and with the Star Alliance network. Our services are enhanced by additional partnerships with selected airlines.
Codeshare partnerships
With Lufthansa’s global route network you can reach destinations in more than 80 countries; in addition to this, we offer flights operated by what are known as codeshare partners. These are airlines with which we have an agreement on the shared use of flight capacities. Together with the flights operated by Lufthansa, they enable you to enjoy an even greater choice of destinations and departure times.
