Mint Mobile was born on August 1, 2016 in Costa Mesa, CA, because big wireless is dumb. Well, at least that’s what our founders thought. So, they decided it was time to create a smarter wireless company. One that extends its middle finger to conventional truths while also pointing out where big wireless is letting people down.

The idea was simple – deliver affordable, premium wireless direct-to-consumer.

So, what does it mean to be a smarter wireless company? Well, it starts by building the wireless service we would want to use ourselves. That and always having the customer’s best interest in mind. Yeah, we know, you’ve heard other companies say that before. But that’s exactly the problem…saying isn’t doing.

From day one, we’ve listened and read comments and had actual dialogues with our customers to help improve the service. We’ve definitely become smarter because of it, so that’s never gonna stop.

And speaking of our service, this is the perfect time for a colon to lead you in and bullet points to highlight how great it really is:

WE’RE ONLINE ONLY : This eliminates stores and salespeople to maximize your savings

BUY IN BULK : We sell plans in 3, 6 and 12-month options…yes, we can do that

NO CONTRACTS : You choose how long you want to stay

NO OVERAGES : Because bills shouldn’t come with surprises

CHOOSE YOUR DATA : We’re not one-size-fits-all around here. Choose what’s right for you.

REFER-A-FRIEND : Earn free service for spreading the word

NO BS : We don’t nickel and dime you for stuff that should be included…like hotspot

Basically, all these great…er, smart things allow us to bring you the best monthly price on wireless! BTW, that’s the only exclamation point you’ll see on this page. Yelling isn’t really our thing.

Ok, enough about us…literally. You can continue poking around our site now. Or, if you’re still in about us mode, click an option down yonder…we just said “yonder,” lol.
