_{Walls and Floors began in 1987 on a recipe of hard work and long days, with a small garage and a single van; our two co-founders, Mr Greenbank and Mr Green, would drive up and down the country transferring tiles for the latest projects. In 1988, we started dealing with our first official supplier. Timeless values and modern methods are the two traits that make Daniel Platt Tiles so special; with products displayed around the world – from Jamaican breweries to Californian mansions.} 

_{After moving out of the garage into a small carpet shop in Sydney Street, Kettering in 1990, we finally purchased our first forklift! No more moving pallets of tiles box by box onto the courier lorries and our van! After a successful start to 1991, we not only brought our first showroom in Wilson Terrace, Kettering, but invested in the start of many careers for the local people of Kettering who came to work for us - you can still visit ourshowroom today! In 1993, we decided to expand our product selection which meant the beginning of our European relationship with many prestigious suppliers, including the highly sought after Porcelanosa brand. The launch of our first tansactional website occured in 2004. From day one, the site has offered a wide selection of products, our sample tile service and home delivery - no one else in the market did this! We are, and always have been, trail-blazers! The expansion of both the tile industry and our business lead us to move into our first official warehouse - Henson Way. This enabled us to hold a large amount of stock supplying more products and a quicker delivery service! The autumn of 2005 and a vast increase in home delivery orders lead us to purchase our first 18 tonne lorry. Today, we have a fleet of 22 vehicles, enabling us to reduce the use of couriers and provide a more personalised service to the country.}
