At the heart of this commitment is our Path of Service™ program, which was launched in 1992 and this year celebrated its 25th anniversary. The Path of Service™ program offers employees up to 40 paid hours each year to volunteer in their communities -- whether it’s refurbishing a school or playground, building community gardens, supporting food pantries and shelters, or creating and maintaining trails to get people into the outdoors. In 2014 Timberland employees proudly served their one-millionth hour; now we’re working on the next million -- with a goal of serving 1.5 million hours by 2020 -- through efforts like our annual Serv-a-palooza and Earth Day global service events.
