ABOUT PIZZA HUT

It all started in 1958 in Wichita USA, when brothers Dan and Frank Carney opened the world's first Pizza Hut restaurant by borrowing $600 from their mum. It was the start of the biggest pizza name in the world, and in 1973, that fantastic pizza came to the UK. What started out as a single Hut in Islington, London is now over 700 Restaurants and Delivery outlets up and down the UK, and guess what, the pizza is still the best in town. Since we came to the UK in 1973, we've been proud of our service and great food. We brought Deep Pan to the UK and we invented Stuffed Crust and Cheesy Bites. And we're not done there, we're still leading the way with our innovation, watch this space for future exciting products.

How does Contact-free Delivery work?

When placing your order online, just fill in the ‘driver instructions’ box at checkout with your chosen drop off location or give those details when placing your order over the phone. You can write any brief description you like here to help navigate your delivery driver, for example: ‘end of driveway’, ‘by front door’ or ‘main entrance to block of flats’. Our driver will call you when they arrive at your agreed location. The driver will place your order where instructed.

Can I pay with cash?

At this time, only orders prepaid with debit or credit card will be accepted to ensure the experience is truly contact-free. Maintaining the highest health and safety standards is always our top priority, and an essential part of the way our Huts are run. We have reinforced our stringent handwashing procedures and conduct daily temperature checks to ensure that employees who are feeling ill stay at home and seek appropriate medical attention. We have also increased the frequency with which we clean and sanitize our kitchen platforms, storage, door handles, delivery bags, boxes & dining facilities. Your order is delivered untouched right from our oven to your doorstep.

How long will my delivery take?

We aim to complete deliveries in under 30 minutes from the time your order has been successfully placed, but at busy times this may vary. We constantly review and refine our Pizza Hut delivery operations to ensure you have the best experience possible, making sure you receive your order piping hot. If your order is running late, please call your Hut directly using the phone number provided in your confirmation email and confirmation page. Our Hut opening times for delivery vary, but you can place ASAP orders as soon as the Hut opens. You can check your local Hut's homepage for opening times.
